Biodiversity of Oklahoma

Poster Series

The "Crayfish of Oklahoma" is the 3rd poster in our series depicting the variety of plants and animals found in Oklahoma. This poster features all but one species of crayfish found in the borders of Oklahoma (the uncommon Procambarus curdi, Red River burrowing crayfish, is the only Oklahoma species not represented). We are indebted to Chris Lukhaup, the excellent photographer, who traveled all across Oklahoma to find all of our crayfish. You can browse his website featuring many types of crustaceans and freshwater invertebrates: Crusta 10.

Due to overwhelming popularity, we no longer have copies of the Botanical Heritage poster for distribution.

Due to limited supplies, we are limiting the quantity available to individuals for the Rare Animal and Plant poster.

Crayfish posters are available free of charge. You may pick up copies at the office of the Oklahoma Biological Survey (111 E. Chesapeake St., Norman)

If you are unable to visit our offices, we ask that you pay for the cost of shipping the posters to you. Please use the form below for requests of 10 or fewer posters.

POSTER ORDER FORM
